When decorating a bathroom, a fun way to change the shape of the room is to include a curved shower curtain rod into the design. I loved this curved curtain rod. I got the chance to help decorate this bathroom, so I thought it would be fun to show you a few pictures.
This particular bathroom is decorated around the shower curtain colors. Which is perfect due to the neutral color on the walls. The shower curtain came from Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
I wish I would have taken some better pictures, but my camera wouldn’t let me get far enough back due to my lens, so this is the best I could do. The walls even have a bead board up about half way around the entire room, but I don’t have one picture that shows it. The room is completely new!
I loved the pastel color choices, and the accessories are fun and simple.
When decorating a small space like a bathroom, it is important to not “over” decorate the space. A few accessories is plenty!
Think about using a curved shower curtain in your next bathroom design. I thought it was a fun change!
I had a curved shower rod in our newly renovated bath, but our room was too small for it. I loved it though! I'm hanging onto mine for when we move.
We have a curved rod in our bathroom. It gives you extra room in the shower and helps the curtain go in the right direction to keep the water out.
I have been wanting to get one of these! Where did you find it? I also want one of those swimsuit drying cords you see in hotels.
I have a curved shower rod in my bathroom and am amazed at much extra space it feels like it adds to the shower/bathtub area – definitely would not go back to a straight shower curtain rod.
where do you get the curved ones?? i have been looking for one FOREVER!!!
Hey Brooke! I just wanted to give you a heads up…I am completly overhauling my living quarters with tons of your inspiration. make sure that you save a feature friday for me in the next little while! Talk to you soon!
cute idea! I also think that it can create more room, depending on the space that you have available. love the pastel colors, makes the area a little more brighter!
My bathroom is so small that a curved shower curtain (as much as I'd love to have one) just wouldn't work…I too have the white beadboard up…over the thrown there is a white cabinet and on top of the cabinet I have a mirror trimmed in white which helps with the lighting in there…love that shower curtain…I'm into green these days!
Howdy ladies! The curtain rod was purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond. Just thought I'd answer your questions.
