I’ve been on a recipe kick lately. If you missed my Mom’s Lemon Cake Recipe, it’s worth checking out. I don’t share recipes often but just know this, if I share a recipe, I know it’s delicious. Trust me, I don’t share anything that isn’t worth making.
My mom’s recipes are always crowd pleasers, and this one is my kids’ favorite! She’s been making this yummy jello/pudding recipe on special occasions for as long as I can remember, and it’s super easy. Just make sure you have enough time for it to set up before you serve it.
All you need for this recipe is two boxes of Jell-o brand products. {Nope not a sponsored post, but I will be using affiliate links in this post, just keeping it real.}
You need these main ingredients: 1 4.3 oz box of jello Lemon cook and Serve Pudding {and the ingredients on the package I think it’s water, sugar, and egg yolks}, and one 6 oz box of orange jello gelatin.
We topped it with a little homemade whipped cream, but this is definitely optional. Most of the time, we don’t have anything on top, and it is still great.
My kids were chomping at the bit waiting for their chance to dig in.
Creed helped me make it, and as soon as possible he helped me with the whipped cream too. 🙂 He’s a good helper.
In case you are wondering what that fun contraption is that Creedy is holding, it’s a Wilton Dessert Decorator. It is really easy to use. I got mine at Walmart I think.
Thanks Mom for the great recipe! Love you.

Oh my goodness, that is our family’s favorite too! But Brooke, you have to try it with the topping that we use, I promise it’s worth it and adds to it:
– small package of instant lemon pudding
– 1 cup milk
Mix pudding and milk and set in the fridge for about 5 minutes then fold in a heaping cup of cool whip
Btw, I love your blog! Thanks for sharing!
I will TOTALLY try that! Thank you!!
