I made this baked french toast {my mother in law Julie’s recipe} for my Bunko group last night, and I promised them I would share the recipe asap.
One of my friends said that this recipe was “Better than Kneaders!” And everyone raved over the yumminess. It made me feel so special. Thanks gals.
I have to agree it’s a freaking delicious recipe!
Serve with fresh sweetened heavy whipped cream {my favorite brand is Darigold which is sold at my local Costco}, powdered sugar, fresh fruit and homemade caramel syrup found on my Sister in Law Jessica’s blog Lou Lou Girls.
Can this be made with cinnamon bread, like the kind at Kneaders?
I’m sure you could make it with any type of bread, but the cinnamon bread that I’ve had a Kneaders isn’t as dense as the type of bread that I use.
I’m going to make with stale cinnamon crunch bagels . How many cups of Bread cubes do you get from two baguettes, please?
I’m not sure how many cups, but I fill the entire pan to the brim. Hopefully that helps! Sounds yummy!
