I found this chair at the local thrift store for $5.00. I LOVED the knobby legs!
With a coat of KILZ primer and Krylon White Spray paint in “white” with a gloss sheen. It looks brand new again.
I reupholstered the cushion. This is a very easy task. All you need to do is turn over your chair, unscrew the seat, and use a staple gun to put your chosen fabric on. Just make sure your fabric is pulled tight.
This is what it looks like underneath the seat. I trimmed the fabric afterward around the edge.
TA-DA! What a darling chair for my daughter’s room!
The top of this “vanity” is actually cork board for my daughter to hang up all her art from school. To check out this project, go to THIS POST.

I LOVE those knobby legs too. Unfortunately i do not like knobby legs on me.
I re-finished a chair this week too! All inspired by you and your beautiful blog! I followed your directions and I am so please with the results!

So cute! Thanks for sharing.
Where's a DI when I need one?? The Goodwill's here in the south do not have fabulous furniture finds. 🙁 Love the chair…and everything else y'all do! I'm always excited when you have a new project posted!
FABULOUS job.
Where did you get the darling polka-dot material? I totally love it! I can never find such cuteness anywhere!
