A bunch of local friends and family have asked me about how I apply Maskcara’s HAC {Highlight and Contour} makeup. I’ve had this idea for a few weeks, but I’ll be 100% honest here. I’ve been NERVOUS to make a video about makeup! I’m definitely not a pro by any means, but I’ve got my routine down pat after watching Cara’s makeup applications a few dozen times on lots of gals, and watching her YouTube videos over and over and over again. HA!
The stars aligned the other day and I finally got the nerve to video myself. Try not to be too critical because I know it’s not perfect, but hopefully it helps a few of you who may need to be shown how someone does highlighting and contouring with Maskcara’s makeup. I love it, and I use it everyday. Well, everyday I get ready anyway. š
Here you go! Let me know if you have questions!
The makeup products I use in the video:
FACE: Maskcara HAC pack {sunlit and linen (I mix them) as highlight colors, stone as contour color, and dahlia as blush color, and illuminator}.Tip: wet your application sponge slightly before you use it. EYES: Clinique Mascara, Eyebrow Kit by Salon Perfect, Naked 3 Pallet {Strange as base and Nooner in the crease}. Lower eyeliner: Covergirl eyeliner in Mink. LIPS: Pixi Pink Shea Butter. SETTING POWDER: Pixi Quick Fix Powder. BRUSHES AND APPLICATORS: Sponge is from Real Techniques. I use Maskcara’s 30 second HAC brush to blent the highlight and contour, an IT brush to apply the blush, and a Real Techniques buffing brush to apply the illuminator. {But, if you are a newbie, Mascara’s 30 second HAC brush is probably my fave.} HAIR: Aussie Dry Shampoo, Non-tapered 1″ curling wand
I like it! Very similar to my own routine, except that I use a matte bronzer and a lighter foundation powder for my contouring š I’d love to try a creme, but it all just melts off of me!!!
I love it – you are so gorgeous my friend- with or without the makeup! I big puffy heart you!!! Hoping to see you again in April š
