This Thursday {November 19th} at any Home Depot across the country you can sign up for a DIH {do it herself} workshop and learn how to make these simple wooden Christmas stockings!
I made mine a little more colorful, and I made my own pattern so they would fit perfectly on my mantle.
I’m a little addicted to Photoshop I think. Shhhhh, it’s fine, I’ve embraced my crazy traits.
I almost stopped painting the stripes at this point because I loved the birch wood peeking through, but I didn’t think it would look as good with my barn wood mantle, so I painted on.
I painted most of the stripes with my trusty Behr flat paint samples, but I added in a few craft paint colors too.
After the stripes dried, I sealed them with my new favorite sealer product, Rust-Oleum Chalked Matte Clear Topcoat.
I love my colorful mantle this year!
Register for a DIH workshop in your area by clicking HERE. They are this Thursday from 6:30-8pm.
If you live in Southern Utah, come to the DIH workshop I will be at in St. George on Telegraph! I would love to meet you in person!
Feel free to leave your questions in the comments. I will do my best to answer them quickly.
Those wooden stockings are adorable! I love them!
