Hanging Succulent Garden

Every single month, the Home Depot holds classes specifically for women. Did you know that? I love that they do that! No matter what Home Depot store is closest to you, the project this month is this cute hanging succulent planter. 

The class this month is this Thursday April 20th at 6:30. 

It’s such a cute project and the CLASS IS FREE!* {*most of the time you will still need to purchase the supplies if you want to make your own project, but you can attend a class for free to learn how to make the project}.

I customized mine slightly to add my house number to the center, and I added a chunky wooden frame to the top, but that’s it!

My Home Depot was out of chicken wire, so I improvised with this wire instead. 

I stained mine with Rustoleum Ebony stain.

And made a small box on the inside to hole my house numbers. This box is stained with Rustoleum Kona Stain. 

I bought 4″ house numbers, and they already have self adhesive stickers on the back. 

But I wanted them to shine a little more, so I painted them with Rustoleum Stops Rust Copper Spray paint. 

I wired the box to the middle of the succulent garden. 

I used wire cutters to cut small holes for each succulent, and I cut a small hole in the landscape fabric and started planting my succulents. 

I learned that chicken wire would have been a LOT easier, so keep that in mind.
