It’s my hubby’s birthday today. He is the most amazing person in the whole world. How can you not love this face?

Dan and I have been married for 14 years, and I can honestly say that I love him more than I ever imagined. When I met him, I knew he was a keeper. If you want to read the story about how we met, check it out here. 

Today, I wanted to pause the normal posts and share a more personal post. Hopefully it will be fun for you to get to know him a little better.

27 random things about Dan that I LOVE:

1. He is a foodie. If you want tips on where to eat and what to order, ask Dan. It will be a fun conversation, I promise.

2. He is a morning person. He wakes up singing almost every morning.

3. Speaking of singing, he sings like an angel. He proposed to me by singing to me in front of an audience. How cute is that!?!

4.  He knows the most random facts about sooooo many things. His mind can recall stuff that mine can’t hold onto for some reason. It makes conversations really fun because he’ll whip out a random fact.

5. He is so much fun. He can’t sit still, and I love this about him.

6. He would drop anything to help a neighbor with an emergency.

7. He is a people person. We are always waiting on Dan to finish a conversation.

8. He LOVES to mow the lawn. Random, but it’s true.

9. He loves crazy sunday socks.

10. He is a great budgeter. I have to admit the first couple years of our marriage I wasn’t so sure about this, but I LOVE IT now. I love how great he is with money.

11. He can fix anything.

12. He thinks he’s right ALL the time {too bad he’s not, HA!}.

13. He helps around the house and with the kids. He does dishes and laundry. He cleans the bathrooms and the fridge. In fact sometimes he cleans out my purse too.

14. He loves to waterski. In fact, he has been known to waterski in his Nacho Libre costume at least once a year.

15. He loves Oakley brand sunglasses. It’s a weird obsession that he has.

16. Jack Black is his all time favorite actor.

17. He is obsessed with the nightly news. He records it and watches it almost daily.

18. He watches Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show every single night.

19. He didn’t have any sisters growing up. He has three other brothers.

20. He has a weird obsession with his high school. The amount of school pride that he still has is disturbing. Murray High School Spartans forever.

21. He loves Reese’s Fast Break candy bars.

22. He loves sushi.

23.  He has the most calm, patient eyes. I know that sounds weird, but to me it was one of the first things that attracted me to him.

24. He has a goatee at least 90% of the time. I love it. {Not a fan of the attempt of a beard, though…Dan, don’t even think about it.}

25. He can do a very good cartwheel. Just ask him, he will show you.

26. He’s obsessed with cleaning out his ears and clipping his toenails. He does it every single day. Weird, right!?!

27. He’s a great Dad. I love when he plays with the kids. It makes my heart skip a beat.
