We are obsessed with Italian Sodas. In fact, we get asked to bring them to parties. The sodas are so much fun, and everyone loves them. So, I decided to turn my version of the DIH workshop into an Italian Soda Cart!
Making the cart was super easy and to learn how to make your very own, register for the upcoming DIH workshop at your local Home Depot store!
Every store in the nation holds monthly DIH workshops specifically to help us ladies become more comfortable with power tools! I followed their directions exactly and then drilled four holes in each corner with a holesaw. {This is where the syrup pump goes.}
To remove the circle from the holesaw, place a screwdriver into the side and pry the piece out.
Now we have everything we need for our next party. All we have to do is bring the cart instead of hauling the ice, club soda, syrups, cups, and straws separately!
Register to attend the DIH workshop THIS THURSDAY June 16th at 6:30.
You won’t regret it! They are so much fun, and I’ve personally gotten so much more comfortable with building because of what I’ve learned.
xoxo,
Brooke
Check out my friend’s version of the DIH project too:
I love the syrup dispensers Brooke. The two tone color is perfect!
Love the color and the super creative additions on yours! 🙂
Such an extra cute idea to do the soda station!
Your bottles fit perfect. Bravo 🙂
The gold accents are super cute too!
Love the idea of turning it into an Italian soda bar!! so cute!!
Does your Home Depot do this as a make-and-take? I saw some friends who did the workshop in another area and they all made one to take home. Our class all worked on one stand and there was very little hands on. 🙁
If I’ve already striped my furniture using a spray finish (over chalk paint) do I need to do another coat of paint before correcting with brush on polycrylic?
Nope, you can just brush on the polycrylic, no need to repaint first.
