Hi All! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. It is great to be here with you again today! The weather finally decided to get nice up here in North Idaho & you can feel the moods lifting. Everyone around is happy & out enjoying the sunshine. Of course, when it gets nice out I always get excited to make all my favorite frozen treats, like this Choc-O-Cherry Ice Cream.
This ice cream is the perfect dessert to cool you down all summer long. Packed full of chocolate chunks & delicious cherries, I’m sure it will be your new favorite! We absolutely love it. But we are also crazy for cherries around here. So any time we can add them to a recipe we are making, it’s all good.
My hubs grew up near an orchard where they had fruit trees everywhere. He would spend hours hanging out & snacking on cherries & other fruit. His obsession never faded as the years passed & now every time it’s cherry season comes around he gets practically giddy. He sure looks forward to all the things we make with them. But as summer continues on I tend to bake less, which is why this homemade ice cream is so great.
Recipes that help keep us cool in the summer while still including our favorite ingredients can’t be beat. I take this to my game nights with friends, serve it when the kids have company & of course whenever I can work it into our evenings while hanging out in the back yard too.
This homemade ice cream is so creamy & delicious. If you love cherries like we do, then I know you & your family will swoon over how tasty this is. Pull out the ice cream maker & churn some up.
Thank you so much for spending some time with me today. See you next time!
