Hello!
Fancy Farmgirls here!
It’s officially Fall which means it’s time to cozy things up!
And this front porch is anything but…
We recently painted the exterior of our home (SW mindful gray). All the outdated beige furniture went away and here she’s sat bare naked for a good two months.
Time to add some charm to this first impression landing spot.
First we brought in rocking chairs and pillows because every front porch needs a rocking chair, right?!
It helped but it still felt pretty ho hum and un inviting.
Time to add in the cozy.

Felt pumpkins ($.99 from Walmart) and flowers that feel “Fall-ish” were added for color.

We’re not big seasonal decorators but the front porch is a fun area to have fun with changing things up for the season.
And I am a sucker for pumpkins so this is my favorite season to decorate for.

This is also a fun place to add pops of color. My interior is very neutral, so I’m happy to have a place to pop in bright cheerful colors.
Just by adding some layers of cozy to the porch it becomes a place I want to be and is a welcome greeting each time we come home.

And the firewood stack?…. Purely to help add a cozy feeling. My fireplace happens to operate with the flip of a switch. 😉
First impressions are not for the neighbors. First impressions are for me to have a cozy welcome each time I come home.
