I’m so excited to be showing three more simple spray painting projects today! I love how easy and affordable it is to do a spray painting project, and it makes such an impact on a room.
If you missed Rust-Oleum’s 2019 Color Watch, here is a quick reminder of the color pallet. Plus, check out our overview post about the colors and the projects in our first three colors too! Visit Rust-Oleum’s Color Watch page for more inspirational projects.
Today I’m focusing on Silver Lilac, Coastal Gray, and Deep Forest, three BEAUTIFUL colors that can be incorporated easily into any space.
Of all Rust-Oleum’s 2019 trend colors, Silver Lilac leans more glam than the others. I love how it feels, and the glass jars that I painted with it turned out soooo great! The glass jars were less than $25 combined. Frog Tape helped add a stripe to the bottom of each jar.
Each jar was fully covered with two light coats applied about 20 minutes apart and the jars dried completely in about 30 minutes.
A fancy foyer is the perfect place for these formal glass jars, and they look much more expensive than they actually cost.
The next project is two oversized metal candlesticks. They are so beautiful, and even though they were a little pricey to begin with at $25 each, they add sophistication and style to this modern white home. The color I painted the candlesticks is Coastal Gray.
I love the cool medium gray, and it adds a new neutral to the space.
I love how the gray plays with the warm wood tone of the mantle and the warm bronze of the light fixture and mirror. Mixing warm tones and cool tones is a great way to add interest to any space.
Lastly, deep green has been gaining momentum in the home decor world for a few years, and to pair it with the boho style is absolute perfection. The Deep Forest Green spray paint is the perfect green too.
I started with a $20 basket from HomeGoods, and with a little love, Frog Tape and spray paint, the basket became a boho moment in the room.
The wicker painted so easily that only one coat of spray paint was needed. I removed the tape while the paint was still wet.
The basket turned out adorable, and was the perfect addition to this room.
I love how much an inexpensive project can add to a room! Stay tuned for more projects featuring Rust-Oleum’s Color Watch of the year! Let me know if you have any questions.

Brooke
Love this! The vases and basket are my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
Some were not my colors but I loved how you did this. Looks fantadtic.
These projects turned out great! Thanks for sharing and motivating!
Very pretty! I think of all of the items I’ve gotten rid of in the past that could have been *perfect* if I’d just painted them and I cringe. I’ve only recently gotten into crafting. Thank you for the ideas!
