Outdoor Furniture at Pier 1

As you all know, we have been working on our backyard for several weeks. I am bound and determined to create a spunky and friendly space that our family will enjoy for many years to come.
I hopped over to Pier 1 to check out their outdoor collection, and you should have seen me. I could NOT decide what to get. I wanted it all! Since we entertain a lot and host a lot of summer BBQ’s, I decided to get this adorable wrought iron drink stand.
I was torn.

Ya know, the decision was a hard one, but I decided on the adorable lime green one.  The main reason why I chose the drink stand is because the item can be used both indoors and outdoors. Since we entertain year round, it is a great item that can be used outdoors at a BBQ and just as easy indoors during a neighborhood party.
Another item caught my eye, and although I didn’t find it in the outdoor section of the store, I think it will be PERFECT to hang right above our grill outside. The large spatula is almost four feet tall! I love it. I had to have it.

In our backyard, we are pouring a cement patio. I plan for it to be a place for me to sit and relax and watch the kiddos on the trampoline and swing set.  The patio will be where the red arrow is on our “backyard plan:”

I am swooning (maybe even drooling) over this Pier 1 set: I think the main reason why I love it so much is because of the unique, high backs on the seating.
