Baby Boy Nursery Completed!

Decorating my baby boy nursery has been a lot of fun! In fact, it was hard to nail down which ideas I wanted to use since decorating a nursery is one of those rare delectable treats (in my opinion!). Decorating kids’ rooms and nurseries are my very FAVORITE (if you can’t tell!). Those that have been keeping up with the process won’t be surprised at the elements I finally chose, but I haven’t posted a picture of the room put together yet.

So, without further adieu…here is my baby boy nursery!

It was such an exciting process! I loved every minute of it.

I still haven’t finalized the bedding situation yet, but the baby will be sleeping on our room for a few months, so I have a little while.

I have to also thank all of you for your comments and encouragement about my fussy baby. He has shown a slight improvement on the acid reflux medicine. I am definitely hoping that things continue to get better. Having a sad baby is very hard. Yesterday was a good day. Last night was rough.

Just do me a favor and disregard my typos for the next 6 months, will ya!? I’ll blame it on my fuzzy, getting no sleep brain.

I hope you like his room! 🙂

  1. Love it!! And as a colicky, acid refluxy baby survivor I can only tell you it does get better…My daughter was a nightmare for 4 months…then one day –seriously OVERNIGHT–she woke up happy and hasn't looked back! She's now 11 months and the happiest baby ever!

  2. HOT STUFF girlie! It turned out FABULOUS! OF COURSE! Thanks for sharing. I'm sending you hopes for a better night sleep SOON:)
    YOU CAN DO IT!

  3. You will be just fine. A mother's love makes for such incredible patience. Your baby boy is lucky to have you for a mom – and I don't just mean because of his wonderful room

  4. Brooke, this is my first time visiting your blog, and I am so impressed! I'd heard a lot of my friends mention it, and I'm so glad I came and checked it out! Your little boy's nursery is adorable — those owls are To. Die. For. Seriously. And I LOVE how big you made his name letters. Super cute. My baby boy is almost 7 months old and I'm STILL working on his nursery! (it's getting there!) I can't wait to come back and read some more of your blog when it's not so late!

  5. Lori-
Your comment confused me…but then I remembered that my sister posted my owl project for me after I had my baby. Lol. I made them myself but my sister is one of the most creative people I know. 🙂

  6. The room is beautiful! I agree that decorating your baby's nursery is so much fun! Yours turned out so adorable. I love the color on the walls, the owls, his name…everything!

I hope you all find some relief (and get some sleep) soon!

  7. I love your site! You do so many amazing things and have great ideas! My mom has started her own site and has an etsy shop. I am trying to get the word out for her. Her site is http://www.bondedwithlove.blogspot.com. If you like what you see would you please spread the word. She loves your site as well. Thanks again!

  8. I love the way Creed's nursery turned out!

I have 4 children. 3 boys and 1 girl. My boys all had an allergy/intolerance to dairy and soy. I tried acid reflux meds and cutting out all dairy and soy which left me eating chicken and rice with a little salt and olive oil most days. This didn't help and I reluctantly (with many tears) gave up nursing them and switched them to Alimentum formula. My youngest had to be put on a prescription formula Neocate. I finally had my sweet baby boys back. They grew out of their intolerances at about 1 year to 1 1/2 years of age. Good luck!

  9. Try taking him to a chiropractor…a pediatric chiropractor. It helps with colic, among other things. It worked for my babies with ear infections even. And WAY CUTE nursery too!!

  10. Just catching the end part here, but LOVE, LOVE the padded headboard in the crib..have never seen that before. The room color looks amazing, too, congrats! And, the fussiness gets better!

  11. Brooke, I just found your blog and I am so impressed by everything! Especially all of your nursery posts! This turned out amazing!
I am finishing up my nursery now, but I am going to do a post on your amazing nursery. LOVE IT!
    hope you are sleeping better!
