Hi All! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. Are you excited for fall? We are seeing a lot of kiddos heading back to school already which has me in fall recipe mode. I am loading up on apples & going through the cinnamon like crazy around here. So I wanted to share with you all one of our favorite fall recipes, Caramel Apple Spice Bread.
One of the things I love about fall, aside from the gorgeous colors, is our time visiting the local orchards around our area. It is such a fun family activity to head out on the weekend & pick our own locally-grown fruit & veggies. We like to pack a picnic lunch & head out to the lake afterward & just enjoy the gorgeous scenery before it is all covered with snow here in a couple of months.
After a trip like that to the orchards we typically have about 40+ pounds of apples & that means I am baking up a storm. That also means I am making apple pie filling in bulk, which is fine with me because we love to add it on top of so many things. But in this case, we will be mixing it into this scrumptious bread.
apple spice bread recipe
This Caramel Apple Spice Bread is loaded with apple pie filling, which makes it perfect for enjoying a la mode after dinner or if you like you can have a warm slice in the morning with a hot cup of cider. Either way, it has all the great flavors of fall that we all love packed into each & every slice.
The best part is that this quick bread is simple & easy. Just whisk the ingredients together & bake. No complicated steps. Bonus, this recipe makes two loaves, so you can either wrap it up & freeze it for another time, or give it away to the neighbors. They are sure to love it!
Thank you so much for spending some time with me today.
See you next time!

Looks good, and I look forward to making it. I do have, and make, apple pie filling, but the recipe references a “Caramelized” pear or apple filling, and I can’t find any other recipe for that specific ingredient. Is there a recipe for this specific pie filling?
Thanks!
