WOWZA...this week has flown by. Brooke and I have been gearing up for our first challenge in the ” So You think You can Decorate”contest. We’ve spent hours wracking our brains, trying to come up with some new, sweet, amazing ideas. I think both mine and Brooke’s heads hurt from all the thinking we’ve done. We hope you will like what we have come up with and show us the LOVE. I think I speak for both Brooke and I when I say it’s nerve wracking this thing called competition. Especially when you look at who we are competing against. We have some tough competition out there. The heat is on startingthis Sunday night. So make sure you jump over there and vote for the project you like the best.
OK..OK..
back to what we are here for and that is to show one of our readers projects a little Lovin’. Today we have TWO All Things Thrifty FEATURES!
Our first project comes from the very talented Laura Warner. She took on the project of her master bedroom along with re-upholstering her kitchen chairs. So first things first the bedroom reveal….
Laura found the comforter first and then built her room around it. She also painted that branch on her wall and recovered her old pillows. She found her lamps on clearance at Tj Maxx and the “W” hanging on her wall at Kohls. GEEZ.. I’m out of breath just talking about all she has done…but it doesn’t end there folks.
She found the dresser and bed side tables on Craigslist. She gave them all a new coat of paint, a little glaze to make them POP and some new bling {hardware}
I LOVE the end results of this bedroom. It is so fresh and calming.
Hang on there is still more to see….
Remember I mentioned that she re-did her kitchen chairs too?? Well here is the finished results of those also. Laura you have been one busy bee.
AWESOME JOB LAURA!!!
What do you think?? Does Laura got some talent or what??
Our second project comes from Jen Allen! She has been one busy mama lately. She reupholstered these two chairs and don’t they look stinkin’ cute? She is a reupholstering machine! I love the style of these chairs too. What an eye she has.
I love the tufting in this one! Didn’t she do a rip-roarin’ AMAZING JOB!?! And guess what….these two chairs are FOR SALE!!! Contact Jen at jenkallen@gmail.com for pricing.
{Rememeber to send your All Things Thrifty inspired projects to
