About a year ago I was called into a position in my church that I think miiiiight just be the best calling. š I was called as the Ward Camp Director! {If you aren’t sure what a calling is, you can find lots of really great information HERE or at lds.org}
Anyway, along with that super fun calling, I was lucky enough to also be a Laurel Adviser. And I LOVE that as well. I was in a great position to not only get to know the girls better but to be able to teach them once a month. The youth in our congregation are truly amazing. Every week they taught me more than I taught them. I feel truly blessed to be able to rub elbows with such amazing young women. All that being said, whenever it came time to pick my topic, I found myself searching through the app and then going back over and over to see which one would be the best for me that month. I decided I wanted a calendar that would list all of the topics for that month, plus house all of the upcoming activities, meetings and other things. I hope this helps you as well because I have LOVED using mine and it’s only January! š
On the bottom of each month, I listed all of the lesson topics. That way they are always a glance a way and can help when thinking of what to teach next. {Or if you have planning meetings, this will come in handy too!!}
