A few weeks ago I got an email from my sons teacher… two actually. One was an apology note about an accidental email that she had sent to the whole class about one particular student. The other… well the email about said kiddo. I was sick for her. {Luckily the email wasn’t too crazy and the incident was soon forgotten.}
However the following days after her heartfelt apology, I wanted to take her a little something to say “You are AMAZING”! {Because honestly, I can’t even imagine being a kindergarten teacher and I think they are getting a one way ticket to heaven.} Annnnyway, once I started thinking about grabbing her something, I kinda panicked. I am usually pretty good about getting gifts for others but this one stumped me. A drink… but does she even like soda? Maybe she’s a water drinker. Chocolate? Wait, maybe she likes fruity stuff? Gift card? To where?? I mean I know that anything would have been a better choice to my FREAKING OUT and ending up with nothing. Ha! But I wanted it to be something she would like…
Which brings me to today’s post. Now. I realize school has started and the year is progressing but there is still Christmas, teacher appreciation, birthdays, bad days etc. So don’t be like me. Get this thing printed and over to your teacher to fill out so on the off chance that you KNOW about her really bad day, you’ll be able to get her a little something to make it better! 😉

My husband is a teacher and I know he truly appreciates every single thoughtful gesture that comes his way. Treats, cards, cash <—- Kidding. But I think it means just a little more when it’s something they want and know that the time and effort was put into figuring them out.
Happy Thursday friends! xoxo – Jo
