This is definitely the busiest week of the year at my house. We spent the weekend laying carpet in our garage. Yes, you read that correctly…in the garage. Ha ha. We have a pumpkin carving party every year, and we don’t want our guests to freeze their tootsies off by sitting on the freezing garage floor while they carve their masterpieces, so we lay carpet down for the party.
I ran across this tutorial this morning at MADE (definitely one of my favorite sites out there), and I could not help but share. I am going to be sad when Halloween is over! I am definitely doing this one (probably next year when I don’t have 60 pumpkins waiting to be carved). š
Download the template from Country Living HERE.
Go figure…I have not checked google reader in a long time. 5 minutes after I cut a bunch of FULL bat silhouettes, I checked my reader and see this with a much easier half template ha ha. We are having a huge Halloween party and I am doing this on one of my walls. Your wall looks great!
I just love this idea and am bookmarking it to use next year!
So cute:)
My Son is going to be batman for halloween… BUT November 6th we are having his birthday party and it is going to be a costume party and once again he is going to be Batman so a Bate cave IS in order… I am going to use your idea and make that happen for him… Thank you very much… š
thanks for the template, we are going to make the bats for our door for Halloween….thanks again
Thanks to you, I've been reading MADE every single day all year. I LOVED her bat wall! I wish I had time to do this!
Can't wait to see your pumpkins. Don't you wish they lasted from year to year? š
love the bats!

Shopko has the bats for halloween in vinyl stickers that are easily removed. Not 3 D but not as time consuming.
