Today I’m showcasing my last three Rust-Oleum Color Watch projects. For additional inspirational project ideas, visit rustoleum.com/color-watch.. The three colors I’m focusing on today are: Smokey Beige, Satin Bronze, and Midnight Blue, but if you missed the other six colors, check out all nine below:
I love how simple a spray paint projects are. This small plant added just the warmth I wanted in my daughter’s bedroom. Plus it took less than 20 minutes from start to finish and cost only $10!
To make the project easier, I simply wrapped the plant with brown craft paper while I sprayed the pot.
The project looks darling and adds some much needed greenery to the space.
Plants in general are great additions to any room, and this project proves that.
My next project is this adorable farmhouse chair in Midnight Blue.
It started out black, but I wanted to add a little more color to my friend Jo’s office. It cost $65 but if you are thrift store expert, you could find a small chair for much less.
I primed the chair first to make sure the blue would adhere properly.
Then I sprayed two coats of midnight blue about 20 minutes apart and let it dry overnight.
The chair is perfect for this colorful office.
Next, I found some adorable tiny ceramic houses at HomeGoods for less than $5 each. I sprayed them Satin Bronze to make them look like a set.
One coat covered perfectly, so I didn’t need to apply a second coat.
The satin bronze is the perfect metallic hue and the houses look great as bookends.
I hope you enjoyed all nine projects featuring Rust-Oleum’s Color Watch of the year! Let me know if you have any questions, or if you want some additional inspiration, check out rustoleum.com/color-watch.
