Strawberry Spinach Wonton Salad
Prep Time 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 package spinach
- 1 head red leaf lettuce
- 12 {at least} wontons cut into strips when you fry them
- 1/4 c. cooked chopped bacon
- 1/2 c. finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 red onion chopped
- 1 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 c. sugared almonds
Dressing
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 c. strawberry jam
Instructions

Cook the bacon and crumble

Cut the wontons into strips, fry them in oil and set aside

Sugar the almonds by heating 3 Tbsp of sugar in a pan with almonds on medium-high heat {stir continuously}

Mix dressing ingredients

Add all ingredients together in a large bowl

Add wontons right before serving.
