School is out in our neck of the woods {which would be southern Utah} and we’ve actually been out for about a week now. All over the state of Utah, there is a big campaign going on. An idea which I am a huge supporter of. It’s called “Play Unplugged”. We don’t have video games at our house but we do have tablets and if I didn’t regulate, the kids would be on them all. the. time. The idea is to get local businesses involved and when certain “activities”are completed then they can go to said business and pick up a “tag”. It’s great incentive for the kiddos! They love checking things off and then adding the tags to their lanyard.
Here’s my spin: an unplugged punch card. Each kiddo gets their own and as they {or all of you} complete the activities, they get to punch their card! The best part? You don’t have to drive anywhere extra! š Well, maybe just to Costco to pick up these prints!
There are 3 free printable versions. One is a 4×4 which will print on 4×6 with a couple inches that you’ll need to cut off. The second one is 4×6 with the checklist on top {that I would also cut off but just use a reference guide}, and the third is a true 4X4 printable for those that may be printing at home.
I tried to keep the activities as free and cheap as possible because when you have 4 kiddos home like I do, things can get pricey.
I hope that these are useful for you because summer can get a little stressful if you don’t have some fun things in mind! I may be speaking from experience! š
Thanks again for having me!
xoxo
