Sometimes the prices of flowers are ridiculous, especially around Valentine’s Day. But, I appreciate flowers as much as any other woman alive. So, recently, I made this cute bouquet for a friend, out of COSTCO flowers! I used two of their flower bunches, and one small rose bunch. Then with this cute glass jar that doubles as a cookie jar, it makes the gift doubly darling!
I cut some vinyl with my Silhouette CAMEO, my go to craft-cutting machine.
I’m raising my hand high that I would rather get these flowers than a $150 flower bouquet.
What do you think? Are you raising your hand high too?
AND….I’m curious, what else are you hoping for Valentine’s from your honey? Are you a chocolates and perfume kinda gal or does a letter mean more to you? Or would you rather spend a night out?
I’m kinda boring, but I think I’d rather go to dinner without kids. Tell me what you think.
xoxo,
Brooke
This would be a beautiful gift at any time! xx
Oh my gosh – dinner without kids is amazing! I go back and forth with Valentine’s Day – I hate it because I feel pressured to have this huge romantic day, and it turns out being more hassle than anything and I spend most of the day in a funk because I’m one of the girls at the office that never gets a delivery like all the others who fawn over their roses all day… But really – it’s silly when you think about it to spend so much on that.
I’ve never before gotten a $150 bouquet of flowers. Ever. I think I’d rather get something more heartfelt.
