Hi All! It’s Gina from Kleinworth & Co. Who loves the flavors of fall? Apples, pumpkin & of course cinnamon are on everyone’s mind these days. I know those favorites are what’s on the menu almost 24/7 here. My family is crazy for cinnamon & they just can’t get enough. It’s really great that cinnamon is the common pairing with the other flavors like apple & pumpkin. But you know what my favorite pairing with cinnamon is? White chocolate! Yep, it’s so delicious. Who’s with me on that? Since it’s fall, I just had to share our family’s “go-to” recipe for snickerdoodles. White Chocolate Snickerdoodle Cookies. YUM!
I have a ton of snickerdoodle recipes all passed down from so many places. My mom had a killer recipe & so did 4 of our grandmothers. We have a bunch of recipe cards given to us by friends too. Then, of course, there are the ones from the old church cookbooks we inherited which are always so fun to look at & try. I think we actually have tried them all & I have to say, this recipe for White Chocolate Snickerdoodles has still got to be the favorite here.
I really love the addition of white chocolate to the classic snickerdoodle recipe. They are so soft & chewy – everything you love about the perfect cookie. But with that little bit of white chocolate in there just makes them over the top delicious. Man, these cookies are good & perfect for fall. They make great gifts for friends & neighbors when it comes holiday time too. I mean, I’d be hard-pressed to find anyone among my circle of friends that doesn’t love these cookies. YUM-O!
I love making these for all the holiday parties. They are always at our Thanksgiving celebration. They are just the epitome of fall for our family & so we pretty much make them all the time once the weather starts cooling down. I really hope you give them a try. I just know you will love them too.
