This bad boy was given to a friend for FREE! Gotta love free furniture! We have been reupholstering this wingback chair for the last couple of days and it is almost complete! I can’t wait to show you the transformation. Has it been easy?!!? NO. In fact, we both were extremely frustrated with this process. But, the end result will be worth it. Stay tuned! I had to give you a little somethin’ somethin’ to look forward too! š
Wingback chair project
Published on November 4, 2010
Awesome! I found a chair just like this on the curb this summer. Although it's in better shape–it's just dirty. I was going to reupholster it (try, never have before)… but I am thinking about making a slipcover instead… so I can't wait to see yours!
I have two of those. I don't want to get rid of them, but I don't know what to do with them. So I'm excited to see what you've done and how you've done it.
I know how you feel. I did one a couple of months ago and I thought it was going to be the death of me. check it out

I can't wait to see the results. I've been debating about undertaking a project like this to save money instead of buying a brand new chair.
Can't wait to see. I so want to try to reupholster but think I'll start with a basic chair cushion first š
I would be so nervous doing that! Good luck, and can't wait to see the after.
Like so many others, I can't wait for this post. I picked one up a winged armchair off EBay for $70AU and want to attempt reupholstering it myself. So will be looking for tips.
Cool. I've got a chair like that sitting in my garage waiting to be reupholstered. Are you going to be doing a tutorial on how you did it? Can't wait to see it.
I am so impressed with anyone who can handle upholstery! I truly can't wait to see, I know it will be fabulous!!
I can't wait to see the finished project and any hints and tips you have to offer for reupholstering it. I am stalking the blogs reading up all I can on it before I begin my settee project!
Oh! I cannot wait to see how you did it and what it looks like now. I LOVE a wing chair and cannot resist buying them…then I give them away because I feel guilty! Currently I have two- one at home in my livingroom screaming for a new look and the other chair lives in my office at school (the students love it too!!). I am sure your post will inspire me to tackle my own~

I will be waiting to the see the results on this one-I have a wingback!!!!
I am so pumped to see this chair all finished! Good luck!
Woo hoo! Can't wait to see this1
I cant wait to see what you've done with it! I've been trying to finish my wing back for months. This was my very 1st chair that I have ever tried to reupholster and I might not be doing it again for awhile lol
