Homemade Rolls in 1 hour Guaranteed

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter {I use salted butter}
  • 3 cups milk {I use 1% milk, but you can use whatever you have on hand}
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water hot
  • 4 eggs large
  • 11 cups flour {I use bread flour}

  • 4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, milk, water and sugar in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Heat for 3 minutes in the microwave.
  3. Add to Bosch or Kitchen aid mixer with a dough hook.
  4. Add eggs and half the flour.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add yeast and salt continue mixing.
  7. Add remaining flour and mix completely
  8. After it’s fully mixed, set to high and knead for 11 minutes.
  9. Divide into three equal balls. {mine is pretty sticky at this point. So I add a little flour while I’m removing it from the bowl.
  10. Roll each section one at a time on a floured surface into a circle.
  11. Cut into pizza shaped wedges. {I do 18 per wedges per circle}
  12. Roll the dough from wide side to the small side like a croissant.
  13. Place on greased baking sheet.
  14. Let raise 15 minutes until puffy. I covered mine with a kitchen cloth during the raising process.
  15. Bake at 375 for 10-12 min. I baked mine 12, they were still doughy at 10 min.
  16. Rub butter ont top after they come out of the oven.
