Yard Sale Chair Complete!

A few days ago I introduced you to this chair that I found at a yard sale. I was ecstatic! It was perfect for my vision and I finally finished it.The chair is solid wood and it was in sturdy shape.

I loved the detail and the legs.

I primed and painted it with KILZ and blue ocean breeze Krylon.

I loved how it was turning out!

Then I used the glazing technique explained in my glazing 101 post found here.

I re-padded the chair because the padding was shot, and I reupholstered the seat with some gray, turquoise, and red fabric I found at JoAnn’s Fabrics. I found it in the canvas home decor section.

I’m in love with the result!

Here is another angle.

Do you like the end result?
