You will do great things printable {from Aly at Entirely Eventful}

Hi there! It’s Aly from Entirely Eventful Day. I am so thrilled that Brooke asked me to share a fun, girlie project with you. I hope you love this printable as much as I do!  If you like it, please check out my other printables.

I have a daughter. She is amazing. Sometimes she worries. Sometimes she doesn’t understand how amazing she is. She’s only nine but she worries about getting a scholarship to the university I graduated from {umm, pressure much?}. Math is too hard. Friends are mean. She thinks she’s not pretty enough. At night I sit on her bed and tell her how amazing she is. It tell her that she doesn’t have to be good at everything, she just has to find something and love it. I tell her, “You will do GREAT things.” I make her say it back to me.

I created this printable for my little girl. And for your little girl. For every little girl who got made fun of today. For every little girl who thinks her hair isn’t the right shade of blonde, who has a hard time learning to read, who wonders what her future holds. To all those little girls I say, “You will do GREAT things.”

This printable is FREE to download.

I hope you frame it and hang it in your little girl’s room.  I will certainly be hanging it in my daughter’s room.
Here’s to girls growing into strong, confident women.

  1. Oh Ally, I LOVE your poster…………It is wonderful and the very thing that most all of us girls need to see everyday!! What a gift you are to your daughter encouraging her in this way. She is blessed to have you as her mother. I wish I had heard this phrase in my young life for sure….I know it would have made a difference. I’m going to make one for each of my 8 granddaughters for their rooms… Thank you so very much for sharing this with all of us………so very generous of you. Hope you will be blessed back, Linda

    1. I am so glad you like it!!! I am also going to post it in other colors on entirelyeventfulday.com next week. Thanks!!!

  2. Just wanted to say how very much this post touched me. I have a 9 year old little girl who is also a worrier. It’s just who she is, but I also tell her how amazing she is…and focus more in her inner beauty than outer (although she is stunning). This printable is perfect! I love it…if you ever want to do it in “teal” I’d use it in her room in a heart beat. She doesn’t like pink…lol.

    Thank you again!

    Char

  3. Good job Mom! I have a daughter that just went through that stage and is now moving on to the Junior High faze…and sometimes I want to punch out other little girls (and sometimes their moms) for the way they think is ok to act (of course I don’t…for the record)! I have a thoroughly beautiful daughter who doesn’t always appreciate how special she is. I think you are doing great by reminding yours that she needs to find her own thing that makes her happy and relish in it. Good luck! 🙂
