One of the busiest weeks of the year for a Mom is the week leading up to Christmas. For example, these are a few things that were on my list this year:
Get Family Pictures Taken {X} I feel like I should write one million smaller lists associated with that task because that in itself is not easy.
Kids Choir Concerts {XX} <—two x’s for two concerts
Now that the pictures are taken…Order Christmas Cards {X} <—once received, address the cards and mail. {You can order cards through CVS same day pickup too!}
Get kids’ Christmas lists {X}
Convince kids they do not need everything on their list {X}
Get rid of old toys in the house {X}
Do service {X}
Deliver neighbor gifts {X}
Go to a live nativity {X}
Do the shopping {X}
Do the wrapping {X}…
etc etc etc. {X} {X} {X}
Can I get an Amen?!?
But, during the hustle and bustle of getting all of the other tasks done, I took a few minutes to upload our family pictures to CVS Photo to create some special gifts for the grandparents.
The great thing about CVS is that you can pick up a lot of gifts the SAME DAY that you order them. For a busy mom like myself, I appreciate that speediness.
So, we added the photos into the book, added a quick maroon border, and within 20 minutes, I had three books ordered.
I ordered three of the exact same book for each set of grandparents, but if you have a little more time you could personalize them too.
They loved the books! I am so glad that the same day CVS Photo service is quick and speedy so that we could give a gift that means more to us than just a regular gift.
